TED is a non-profit organization that is devoted to the idea of spreading ideas. The TED organization began in 1984 as a conference where “Technology, Entertainment and Design converged”. TED became known for it is short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less).

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

TEDx MUET is an independently organized TED event to create two things: a conference, and a community, where live Speakers and TED Talks (videos) combine to explore a range of new, important, and often little-heard ideas and perspectives.
